Gumtree is one of the oldest, and best sites in the world for buying and
selling.
You can sell almost anything on Gumtree for FREE. Gumtree has sites for many
cities throughout the world, so you sell to people local to you.
The links point to the London Gumtree, but once there just pick your local city
from the list on the right.
By selling on Gumtree you are selling to people local to you, so they will come
to your home with the cash. No more avoiding scammers on international auction
sites.
To sell, or buy, all you need to do is enter your email address and a password.
Then enter your for sale, or wanted add and that's it. From then on you can log
in any time and post more adds for free.
Adds are vetted, so Gumtree is not full of scam adds like some other free adds
sites.

Preloved is another great place to sell, or buy second hand items. It's free to place a private add, and very easy to do. Just pick the category you want to place your item in, type your add, say whether it's a for sale or wanted add and complete a very short form and you're done.
The form really is short, you just supply a screen name you want to use, a password and some personal details. Town, Post Code and either a phone number or email address, so buyers can contact you, and that's it.
The Town and Post Code is needed so people can find items local to them and, obviously they will need an email address or telephone number to contact you.
Once that is done they send you a validation code to your email address, when you get this you enter it in the validation page and your advert goes live.
