Say No To 0870
This site is extremely useful, and can save money on your telephone calls.
Most companies have 0870 numbers, they can actually make money from having these numbers, but it is us that pays for them. They can charge 7p per minute to phone one of these numbers, but they often have an equivalent 01 or 02 number which you could ring, if you knew what it was.
This is where Say No To 0870 comes in, just type the number into the search box on the site and it (may) come up with an alternative 01/02 number which you can dial. So, instead of paying 7p per minute you could only be paying 3p per minute. Even less if you have a price plan that gives you cheap calls.
We found that it didn't always find an alternative number if you used the number search box, but using the company search box brought up a whole host of number you could ring.
Next time you have to ring a company that has only supplied an
0870 number, or other non geographical number, use this site and you may find
you can ring the company via a cheaper number.
