Paid To Search
Just found a site, on 17 December 2007, that pays you to search the Internet.
Update: Been paid twice from this site, in March and April 2008.
The idea is simple, you search the internet as you would normally but do it through this site instead of your usual search engine and they pay you for it.
When you sign up you can install an add on for your brower search box, it didn't work when we tried to install it on Firefox. Once that is done you just use the search box to do your internet searches and get paid for it.
Update: If installing the search box dosn't work when you join go to "My Control Panel" and hit the "Use My Search Funds on anther computer". From there use the "Click here to upgrade your search box" and it should install without any problems.
They also give you your own URL for their search page, so if you don't want to use the browser search box, you can use that page instead.
The link can be found on the first page after you log into your account, immediately above the paragraph heading "Use your mobile phone!"
The beauty of this is you will be getting paid to do what you would do anyway, there's no extra work involved at all!
The site has a minimum payment level of £20, but you should earn in that month. The payment is 45 days in arrears, but this is normal.
As this site is new to use, we haven't been paid yet, but we have checked the site and it looks good. It contains full contact details for the company and we also check this with Company House.
Warning: Your searches must be genuine, if you just sit and do a lot of searches just to earn the money they will cancel them. It appears that if you do more than 2 searches in the same minute then all the searches you do in that minute get canceled. So do no more than 2 searches in the same minute.
Warning: They send you your user name and password in an email when you register. If you have a spam filter this email may get treated as spam.
This site is a good site for earning a little extra money. We've been paid twice and are looking forward to another pauyment mid-May.
Getting paid to search the internet when we do that already sounds very appealing!
